Q: How does a Luxury system compare to the competition? 

A: There are three main competitors to Luxury: Tile/Stone/Fiberglass, Painting/Sealing, other acrylic manufacturers.

1. Tile, stone and fiberglass showers are known to break down over time. This is because the materials used are porous, and allow water to stagnate, initiate the growth of mildew or mold or cause stains. These pourous materials are difficult to clean and maintain. Back breaking work and more remodeling in the future await those who remodel with these materials.
2. Painting, sealing, re-glazing and refinishing are only temporary fixes to patch a problem that will continue to resurface. 
3. Compared to other acrylic remodels, Luxury’s product has three key differences:

• Microban^®
• Hardness - Luxury cast acrylic has the hardest surface of any material on the market. It is highly scratch and impact resistant, and requires less effort to clean.
• Selection - Luxury offers the most popular colors, including Travertine, Slate, Marble, Granite and other stylish and unique colors.

Microban® is a microbial protection built right into our Luxury Bath product. Microban® helps prevent the growth of odor- and stain-causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the tub and surround surface. Microban® is safe and has undergone extensive independent laboratory testing. It provides an added level of protection to help give you peace of mind about your bath system and the health of you and your loved ones.

Q: Are Luxury Bath Systems easy to clean? Do they require any special cleaners?

A: We recommend the use of mild soap and water with a soft washcloth. Dish soap such as Joy, Dawn or Ivory, will act effectively as an everyday cleaner on our surfaces.  Please see our approved list of cleaners.

Q: How long are Luxury Bath Systems warranted? 

A: Luxury Bath Systems warrants Luxan acrylic surfaces for the lifetime of the product, against any defect in materials and workmanship.  Luxury further warrants for this same period, the surface will not fade, yellow, crack, bubble or peel under normal use when cared for according to the Luxury Bath Systems guidelines.

Q: What colors are available for Luxury Bath Systems?

A: Wall surrounds come in many different colors and patterns including solids, marble finishes, simulated tile acrylics and solid acrylic granites.

Q:How long will the installation take?

A: The majority of our installations will be completed in one day.

Q: Is Microban® safe?

A: Microban® is safe and has undergone extensive independent laboratory testing. Luxury is a member of the National Association of Homebuilders, and all materials used are approved for their specified use.

Q: If Microban® is inside of the acrylic, does this mean I don’t have to clean my surrounds as frequently?

A: While Microban® antimicrobial protection is an added level of cleanliness protection; it does not replace the need for normal cleaning and disinfecting practices.

Q: Did your company used to sell Re-Bath™ products?

A: Yes, we were a franchisee in Reno and Spokane until September of 2009 when we agreed to a mutual rescission of those agreements, and became a Luxury Bath franchise. For more details, please see our company history here.

Q: Who should I contact if I have service issues with products I purchased from your company before you became a Luxury Bath franchise?

A: We have changed our name and we now offer a new product line, but we are the same company, and we want to make sure that you are fully satisfied with any products purchased from us.
